My first final for the semester was tonight. So I spent some of the day studying for corporate tax. I felt like I did very well on the test, but we'll see!

Today is study day at school which means 24hr quiet hours. The quiet hours started at 10pm last night and guess what I woke up to at 7 o'clock in the MORNING?? The stupid fire alarm for my building. My dorm has 2 drills a semester and I figured this was the 2nd one but apparently even the RA's were unaware of this one and the cop car that's usually outside to block traffic wasn't there. So I'm thinking someone pulled the alarm. It was chilly and I was tired....lol. Luckily we went back inside 10 minutes later and I was able to fall back asleep.

Today was the official last day of classes FOREVER!!! I only have 2 classes on Mondays; one was canceled & the other was only 2 presentations to watch. So I went back to my room & relaxed! And of course I had to watch Tough Love Couples - haha.

Didn't do much today. My brothers wanted to watch Avatar so we went to my older brother's house to watch it. It's so good!! I got to meet his new foster puppy, too. We're not sure what she's mixed with but she's cute!! Greg named her Ivy.

Went to the Strawberry Festival today with my mom & aunt. It was fun despite the rainy weather. I tried Krystal burgers for the first time - yum!!


On the way home we stopped in Goodwill and there were lots of great deals! Better than what we have back home - lol. I found 2 ties for Scott & I got a cute purse for cheap!! And I picked up the blanket at a gas station for Scott. I have a similar one & it's my favorite blanket! It's so warm.

Avatar came out on BluRay & DVD today!!!! I got my copy & I'm so excited to watch it again soon!

I had a good day at work. It went by really fast. My dad & I dropped my car off last night to get my windshield replaced & it looks so good!! It's the only clean thing currently on my car - lol.

Today was unofficially my last day of classes!!! The last day of classes is next Monday and I have 2 classes; one of them was canceled and the other is just watching 2 presentations. Woohoo!! On my way home my odometer finally hit a great number!! It's taken me 3 weeks to get to it. lol

Woke up earlier than normal for my doctor appointment at 8:45. Of course I was running slightly late so guess what happens? I get stopped by a train!! Go figure. lol. I've lived in this area for the past 13 years & have only been stopped at this particular train track a couple of times.


After my appointment I worked on some HW and then headed back to school. After class I stopped in the restroom & found the "secret wall" in my stall. lol. Apparently this is the area to write your secrets/regrets and they keep getting painted over. One actually said that they had aborted a baby that could've grown up to save her life.

After class I headed back home for my appointment tomorrow morning. My brother decided to go to Walmart & invited me along. I've been looking everywhere for brown flats & the Mamma Mia movie and I finally found them!!!

Today turned out to be not such a good day. It started out great til I left work. My phone had died earlier and right as I was leaving my dad tells me that my mom had a gallbladder attack and he may need me to go get her at work. And of course I don't have a car charger so he could call me, but luckily his charger fit mine. Then I head to my car to leave and I notice there's a large crack on the passenger side of my windshield that I'm positive was NOT there this morning. Anyway, I drive to the bank to get a new debit card with my new name on it. I went last Friday and they told me I needed my Social Security card which was at school, so I brought it home. Well, I walk in and notice 2 tech guys working behind the counter. I sign in and sit down and wait. After a few minutes the lady walks to the sign-in list and tells me that they are unable to print cards at the moment due to their technical difficulties. So I have to go back AGAIN next week. Ugh!! Today was not my day...

Despite missing Scott being around I had a great day! I enjoyed my classes and was able to laugh which started my weekend off nicely. Before heading home I went to the campus store to get a drink for the road. I grabbed a Sobe and was surprised to find this written in the cap. My cap has some charm. ;)

Today marked our 10th month of being married. I can't believe we've almost been married a year!! Time has flown by. I did laundry while I relaxed with the hubby and enjoyed the last few hours before he left.

My parents, Scott, and I took a daytrip to Knoxville to look at a potential house. It was such a beautiful day!! We ate at Cracker Barrel and then Scott and my dad played checkers; Scott won. lol.

After work my mom & I met up with her sisters downtown for dinner at California Dreaming and then seeing the Mamma Mia musical at the Koger Center! It was such a great night! The show was absolutely amazing!! Afterwards we had to walk a block to our car against a major downpour. lol. Needless to say I got a free shower...

Today was a gorgeous day!! Unfortunately I had to spend most of the day studying for my auditing test. After my test Scott & I went to the campus store to get dinner. They always have items related to the season so they had lunchboxes, towels, etc. They also had a new lip balm that looked interesting. It's like a Burt's Bees off brand lol. So I grabbed one. I like the color, too!

Today was normal. I went to class and then relaxed the rest of the day with the hubby. Last Monday I went to a filming of "Invisible Children" and signed up to donate money every month. I also ordered the bracelets that come with a story. They arrived today so both me & Scott wear one. They're made in Uganda.

Happy Easter!!! As is our routine, we went to church and then headed to one side of the family for lunch. This year we were due at my mom's side and they live near Lake Murray. It was such a beautiful day!!

Went to a cook-out with the family today after running errands. I got the Jillian Michaels game for the DS so I'm excited to check it out! The cook-out was a lot of fun. I also came across a really old photo of me with my brothers on Easter in 2003. I'm 14 and they're 12 & 18. I remember taking that photo and I can't believe it's been 7 years!!

Had a very busy & fun day. Went to work, came home & showered, & then met up with my friend, Heather, for dinner at San Jose and then went to see The Bountyhunter. It was really good!!! It was also great to be able to have some girl time to talk afterward.

Happy April Fool's Day! Today's high was in the 80s and was beautiful!! Work went by quick and then came home and didn't do much. Now watching Australia with my mom.

After a long day of classes, studying, and a test, we headed to my parents' house for the weekend.


Scott & I met up with my younger brother for dinner since my parents told us to fend for ourselves. We went to Wild Wing Cafe and it was yummy! It was such a hilarious night. Lots of inside jokes and laughing made for a fantastic night!

Scott's here!! Today was spent sleeping in, finishing Army Wives 3, looking at the photos from Scott's house-hunting adventure, and then class & studying! Although studying turned into dinner while watching TV & then fell asleep watching TV. lol
