Usually we have our Christmas decorations up by now so I had Scott at least get the tree up so we can say we did something. I've caught some kind of bug so once I feel better we'll get the ornaments and beads put on the tree. I can't believe tomorrow is December! This year has flown by and Christmas will be here before you know it. Today also marks the last day of my Project 365. I'm proud of myself for sticking with it for a full year. It's nice to be able to look back at the photos over the past year and see how life has changed.

Watched the CMA Country Christmas. It was good. I love country music & artists and I love Christmas music so it was a good mix.

We played the Wii with some of Scott's cousins & siblings while we waited for the rest of the family to come over for lunch/dinner. Today was our "Thanksgiving" and it was so good to see everyone. We had a great time and enjoyed a lot of laughs.

We went to Vincennes to finish our Christmas shopping and find new lights for Scott's car. I wrapped the gifts while Scott replaced the lights. We ate dinner with his family and then exchanged gifts. We got lots of good stuff.

Happy Thanksgiving!! We're on our way to Indiana to visit Scott's family. I can't wait to see them. We've missed them all so much. We got about an hour or so away from our destination when a buck decided to leap onto my side of the car. Luckily an off-duty trooper was in front of us and had seen the deer so he turned around, helped pry the fender out of the tire so we could drive, and then called another trooper to come help us with our accident report.


Once we said bye to the trooper we continued on our trip to his grandmother's house. The headlight was busted so the rain burned it out and we were left with only one working side of lights. Not too much later and it started snowing!! I was excited!

I stopped by Walmart to pick up some groceries on my way home. I saw these so I had to get a box for me and then bought a box of debbie cakes for Scott, too.

After work I met Scott at Midlands Honda where we traded in my 2002 Kia for a 2011 Cr-V SE. I'm so excited!!! I've always wanted an SUV and this is my dream car! The features in it are perfect and what I wanted. We weren't planning to get a brand new one but they have a great plan with a low interest rate. We'd pay the same either way for a 2008 to 2011 so why not go with brand new? lol

Today we spent most of the day with my family. We joked around like always and watched home videos. Lots of laughter and good times. I love my brothers! This is an old photo of us from 1992 most likely.

While walking around Walmart I saw this Monarch butterfly fluttering around the plants. I don't recall ever seeing one other than in movies or books. They're so pretty and, of course, I had to get a photo of it. It wouldn't stay still long enough for a good one and I couldn't get a pic with the wings open, but this is still a good shot.

Scott has been wanting to see The Last Airbender ever since he saw previews months ago, so I decided to check redbox for it on the way home from work. I never watched the TV series so I was a little lost, but it was still a good movie. I was so surprised to see the Jasper from the Twilight saga in this film. He's so hot!

One of my phone covers arrived and I found some cute Christmas decorations for our apartment. I can't wait to get everything set up. I love this time of year. :) We also went shopping for a dress I can wear to the military ball next month.

For several months now I've wanted a drying rack to use for my sweaters/dress shirts/jeans/etc that I don't put in the dryer. I checked online and found this one but couldn't find it in the store, so I had to order it. This small, light rack came in a huge box that wouldn't fit in my car. I'm excited to use it!

After work today the hubs & I decided to do PT. We ran about a mile. And by "we" I mean him, I had to stop about 1/4 of the way and speed walk. lol. I was very impressed with him though, he ran nonstop. Of course, he's used to it.

After work Scott & I went over to my parents' house to watch a movie with my brother & his gf. Afterward we were watching TV & flipping channels and I found this to be hilarious.

I got to drive my dad's new SUV! He got it a few weeks ago and I've been wanting to drive it ever since. I'd never driven an SUV before, but I knew it was the type of vehicle I was meant to own. I fell in love when i drove it.
