I had plans to hang out with a friend today but plans changed. So I cleaned the house and did laundry. I've had no motivation to clean lately but it feels so good to have a clean house now!

Scott headed to SC for the weekend so it's just me and the girls. I didn't do a lot yesterday other than watch TLC and goof off on the internet.

We had court this morning to deal with Scott's suspended license. It was our 3rd time in court and now that his license is re-instated the case or charge or whatever is dismissed. And the best part: they're refunding our bail money!!! That definitely started my day out well. We then went to Goodwill to shop for what I need for work. I needed khakis and black shoes before training starts Sunday. I found the absolutely perfect pair of pants that surprisingly fit me just right. I also found the shoes I needed for $3 each! I was so excited. I love hunting through Goodwill to find good items.


We then went to Walmart to get some groceries for the next few weeks. We splurged a little and I got new sandals (pictured above) and Scott got a game for his 360 that was on sale.

Haven't done much today either. Enjoying my souvenirs from July 4th: bug bites. I haven't been covered in bites in years. There's probably 20, if not more.

We watched TV all day since the in-laws were all out doing something (working, cleaning, etc). So when everyone was back, we hung out, ate pizza, and then me & Scott headed home.

Happy Independence Day! We got up and went to church. Scott's family lives in a small town & I love the small-town church.


After lunch we went to Sullivan Lake. It was kinda cold again but still fun. It started to lightly rain so we left. We showered and napped until dinner was ready. We then moved Scott's Chevelle to the shed. It's finally running (somewhat) so I got to ride in it! I forgot how much I loved this car.


Once it was dark we shot off fireworks. I'm so glad I was able to take pictures! And poor Sally freaked out. The first firework went off and she kept running all over the place, yelling. So we had to take her inside.

Scott's dad had today off so we headed out to a flea market and some yard sales. His dad got called back into work so we went back, watched Avatar, and had dinner. The fence behind his dad's pole barn was growing wild blackberries so Scott picked some. I'd never had one before and these were good!

We had planned to go to Florida for Scott's cousin's wedding but things didn't work out. So we headed to Indiana instead. Today was my SIL's birthday. Can't believe she's 15! When we got there everyone was eating and hanging out on the back deck. We got to meet the newest addition, Bruiser. He's a yorkie and became best friends with Sally.

I can't believe it's July already!! I didn't feel like eating leftovers or cooking (since I haven't been feeling well), so we ordered pizza. And boy was that an ordeal. We ordered online to the Papa John's 3 miles away. We get a call saying the order was canceled because that Papa John's is closed for 2 weeks. So we place the order again for the one 15 miles away near post just to find out we have to pay more because the prices are higher near post. Ugh. I got my pizza and that's all that matters - lol.

Haven't been feeling well lately so I went to the doctor to get some meds. They were definitely needed!

I got a job! In a few weeks I'll start training for the front desk. I'm excited!

A bad storm hit last night and when we got up this morning, this is what we saw. We didn't hear it fall, but I'm so glad it didn't fall in the opposite direction because it would've hit our car.

Went with the in-laws to Sullivan Lake. The water was a little cold, but still fun.


We had a weenie roast later that night. It was a great day!

We went shopping in Vincennes to get bathing suits since we left ours at home & his family was going to the lake tomorrow. We found some cute suits and then went in Dollar Tree. I found these 3 cute puzzles! Yea, I'm excited - lol.

Heading to Indiana for the weekend. Stopped at Rally's for lunch. Took them 3 tries to give me a plain hotdog with only ketchup - lol.
